The Vézère by bike
From Coly to Limeuil, this route follows the meandering course of the Vézère, offering landscapes of rare serenity. Between villages classified as Saint-Amand-de-Coly and prehistoric gems, each stop is a journey into history and natural beauty. The section between Saint-Chamassy and Les Eyzies follows a greenway, ideal for a family outing, while the section between Les Eyzies - Coly follows a more hilly cycle route, recommended for experienced cyclists. Take the time to enjoy a picnic by the river or stroll through the narrow streets of Limeuil, where the Vézère joins the Dordogne.
LA FLOW BIKE
From Sarlat, the Flow Vélo takes you to the picturesque village of Saint-Geniès, with its slate roofs and authentic charm. Along the way, a section runs along the peaceful banks of the Saint-Crépin-et-Carlucet, perfect for a contemplative break. The first section of a 400 km route to the island of Aix, this trail is an invitation to slow down and savor the gentle pace of Périgord Noir.
The greenway of the Dordogne Valley
From Sarlat to Cazoulès, the Greenway crosses bucolic landscapes and connects villages such as Carsac and the market town ofAillac. Accessible to the whole family, this route winds through the heart of the Périgord countryside, between greenery and local heritage. Take advantage of breaks by the river or near village shops to immerse yourself in the Périgord Noir way of life.
