Want to explore the Périgord Noir mountain bike? The region offers a structured range of trails accessible to all levels, with 33 FFC-certified mountain bike trails representing more than 750 km of marked trails.
Classified by color (green, blue, red, black), the trails are suitable for families as well as experienced mountain bikers. Smooth paths, forest trails, rolling hills, or more technical sections: everyone can adapt the distance and difficulty to suit their mood on the day.
The mountain bike trails of Lascaux and Fénelon

The FFC Lascaux Vallée Dordogne Mountain Biking Area brings together the territories of Lascaux Dordogne Vallée Vézère and the Pays de Fénelon to offer mountain biking enthusiasts an exceptional adventure playground in the heart of Périgord Noir.
Through a network of 24 marked trails covering more than 540 kilometers, mountain bikers can explore a mosaic of landscapes including green valleys, deep forests, panoramic hills, and charming villages. Spread out around Montignac-Lascaux, Salignac-Eyvigues and Saint-Geniès, the routes, classified by level from green to black, allow everyone—from beginners to experienced hikers—to find a trail suited to their desires. Between unspoiled nature, remarkable heritage, and carefully maintained trails, each outing promises a unique sporting and cultural immersion.

Around Sarlat, nine mountain bike trails, including a long route covering 120 km that can be completed as a multi-day trip, round out the region's offerings.
The circuits alternate between forest paths, quiet country roads, and fun passages through the undergrowth, offering a wide variety of terrain and atmospheres.
