Périgord stone Périgord a custom-cut stone, quarried exclusively in the Dordogne region of southwestern France. Often described as ochre, it actually offers a palette of colors ranging from light beige to gray. Both solid and elegant, it adds real character to the rural architecture of the Dordogne, lending a touch of authenticity and enhancing the beauty of old Périgord homes.
